I have recently installed a GFC500 in my PA28 coupled to 2 G5s and a Garmin 430(non was).
I’m very happy with the altitude hold and nav tracking except when my flight plan requires a turn of more than 90 degrees to intercept the new track. It anticipates the turn ok but becomes steeper and greater than a rate one turn ending up overshooting the the next pre entered track in the flight plan. ( and me disconnecting).Other predetermined turns of less heading changes are no problem. I’m wondering if I’m asking too much of it to intercept a track going back on itself. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
