Hi everyone, the Garmin Aviation team is excited for AirVenture Oshkosh.
Earlier this year, Garmin announced our new PlaneSync service that offers automatic database updates, remote aircraft status, and automatic flight data log uploads. PlaneSync utilizes the new GDL 60 datalink, which also offers in-flight PED connectivity. If you missed the PlaneSync/GDL 60 announcement, learn more here: Garmin.com/PlaneSync
We’re excited to announce that the GDL 60 will begin shipping this month. Call your favorite Garmin dealer to schedule your upgrade today!
We also announced our first Garmin aftermarket retrofit of Autoland/Autothrottles in the King Air. The team is proud to have updated an aircraft with the very latest in aviation tech that entered service over 50-years ago. Our direction for Garmin Autoland has been clear from the beginning, the Garmin Aviation team envisions Autoland for anything that flies. Today, we’re proud to take another step closer to that vision.
For those attending AirVenture Oshkosh, we look forward to hosting you in our air-conditioned exhibit on Celebration Way. Here’s a link to the website with the complete lineup of activities, including meetups with our favorite people of aviation, daily seminars, database update incentives and avionics promotions.
