Garmin 696 vs 796

I am flying with a 496 , panel mounted in my Pathfinder. It been a fantastic unit and I am now looking to upgrade to either a 796 or 696. I would panel mount the unit on the co-pilots side, using an air gizmo mount. Tie into ships power x-fill from the 430W ( as I have done with the 496 )

I like the LARGER screen and I am a Jepp Chart user and would really like the geo-referance plates. I do fly w/ my iPad.

And pros-cons from those with either of these units.
