Gidday All,
Unfortunately the latest version of G5 software 8.02 appears to have broken my AP. I watched the avionics guy update the 2 G5’s with both completed as successful. The AP indication at the top of the G5 now has a Red Cross through it with the GFC 500 now unable to be activated. He tried to roll back to 8.00 but when he inserted the data card it wasn’t recognised. It appears the Roll GSA28 software is not recognised with an error message on the G5 saying not receiving RS-232 data. It’s a shame as the AP was working flawlessly before the update. A little frustrated to say the least.
Would like to hear others experiences with the update and any advice on how to roll back to V8.00.
Thanks
Andrew
