I know this has been discussed before----so has any overall consensus of findings as to why some NA Carbureted Cherokees have a LOW fuel pressure reading at times in flight ?

For me P28B it happens during climb- fuel pressure drops to as close to zero as it can , Fuel Flow never changes- engine never starves for fuel....drop to cruse , no power change - pressure climbs to a normal 4-5 lbs
resume the climb - pressure drops

Not a parts changer - but I had a NEW fuel pump put on , no change
BTW - turn on the boost pump and pressure climbs to 4-5lbs

Standing by for a resolution.
