Does anyone happen to know where Piper mounted the kmt 112 magnetic flux detector in the pa32s equipped with a KCS 55a HSI? Specifically a Lance? I assume it's in the wing, but thought I'd ask before I start pulling all the inspection covers.

The system is not slaving correctly, and I've read that wiggling/cleaning the connector can resolve the issue.
