I am looking at replacing my flight bag. The one I have been using is a Jeppesen student bag that I hate. I realize everyone has different needs based on what they carry. For myself that would be; an I-FLY700 GPS, handheld radio, tri-fold kneeboard, 2-3 charts, facilities directory, 1 headset, sunglasses+ readers, leatherman tool, wallet, keys, flashlight, cell phone, pens/pencils, knife, wet-ones, extra batteries. I'm considering the Sporty's "Flight Gear Headset Bag" it sits upright and in not a suitcase. I prefer smaller and lots of compartments and pockets. I am planning on getting my IFR so I would need at some point to carry a plate book as well.
What do you use and what do you typically carry in your bag?
