Flaps (electric) not working and the fix

All,

I just wanted to pass along a fix for electric flaps that would not go down intermittently but would go down all the way. They were very slow to engage and you had to take them down all the way then back up to the desired setting for anything less than full flaps in order to make them work.

Fix - I took the middle seats out of my 1989 Piper Saratoga PA32R-301 and had someone operate the flaps. I sprayed electric contact spray on the roller switches as they operated, seen circled below, and after that everything started working great.

Thought I would pass this along for anyone else having this issue.
