Finishing up the annual and found a hole in a scat tube…..

Yes my Cherokee 140/ 180 had a small hole in the carb airbox scat tube…….Not a good think since unfiltered air was coming into the carburetor Venturi……the hose ripped by the clamp?

carb airbox was clean and hopefully it did not cause a problem…..

The engine has a lot of hoses and an a different muffler location…….

BTW a hole in the carb air-box hose can give a high silicon content in an oil analysis …….
