I thought it would be fun to start a thread where everyone could share their favorite weather resources. Of course, calling a briefer is great but additional info can be gleamed from some very cool online resources.

One of my favorites is www.windyty.com.

You can slide the time to the future and change altitude to see surface or winds aloft at given times. Also, clicking on any area of the map and then Detailed Forecast brings up temp, precip, CLOUD COVER, precip and Wind graphs for that specific location. I have been using and appreciating the wind and cloud cover forecast quite a bit recently and found them to be very handy. This site works pretty well on an iPad too.

I like the ceiling tool in Foreflight along with the radar and satellite view.

On the iPad I also like WindAlert.
