I noticed that my turn coordinator stopped coordinating yesterday while in flight. After entering a turn, I noticed that the T/C stayed horizontal regardless of my turn bank. I did not notice it failing as I have seen in various videos, such as erratic behavior (researching after the fact) or deflections in flight.. No fuses were popped either. The slip indicator still worked.

Has anyone else experienced such a failure? Is this relatively common? Is there something else I can check to ensure I did not miss the obvious?

If I have to pull the T/C, is it better to replace or repair?
