I am embarrassed that I don't yet know what suffix my own Cherokee is. I have never flown "in the system" yet but will here shortly so I do need to know if asked. In my training, my trainer PA28-180 had an older King GPS and we used the /I suffix.
I have an Aera 500 and KT76 xpndr (assumed Mode C). Does that constitute a /G designation? If the Aera is not considered 'advanced RNAV' then a /U?
