What are your opinions on engine mount plug-in heaters? My old 172 had one and it sure seemed to help the engine start on cold days especially being able to leave it plugged in. Here in Ohio these hangars can sure get cold. I do have a torpedo heater but sometimes there isn't enough time to let the hangar heat up. What are your thoughts on different types of heaters? Perhaps something that can be left plugged in? I feel like heating the engine quickly can be a little unhealthy for the metal etc. Any suggestion on what types to use?

Thanks!
