I installed an EI engine monitor in my Archer. The files that it creates are in .csv format, or comma separated variable format. As an engineer, analyzing and viewing time series data in Excel can be very tedious, especially zooming in on the graphs. For work I use MATLAB for doing this same thing. I got tired of viewing my engine data in Excel or going through the motions of importing the data into MATLAB. What I ended up doing was creating a MATLAB script to import the .csv files and create .mat files. It will do this to all the files in a selected directory. If anyone is interested, I've uploaded the script. Feel free to distribute.
