Finished an annual. Weather so bad it has been 3 weeks and my A&P finally gets to fly it. All is good except electric trim. So, he pulled the seats and started troubleshooting. Power at breaker - good. No power at thumb switch and no power at motor. Start cutting ty wraps under dash and tracing wire. We had wire hanging everywhere when we get to a panel switch.
Yup, it was turned off. UHG! LOL.
It hides under yoke and just above key switch and is well hidden by the tablet mount on my yoke. I guess we both totally forgot about it and then we spent a few minutes pointing fingers at each other before having a hell of a laugh.
Of course now we had to tie all the wire up, put panel back together and reinstall seats. It's not like we had much else to do on a Saturday afternoon! Like flying maybe????
