I own 8 different headsets for my 3 aircraft.
6 Dave Clarks (3 different models) and 2 Sennheisers in my Piper Cub.
Several of these units are approaching 25 years of age.
Had an ANR type overhauled by Dave Clark 2-3 years ago and it got better (audio fidelity was not great when submitted).
It's now getting a little worse again.
All the "Regular" Dave Clark Units seem to be sounding "tinny" or just not high quality like they used to after being used for a while.
Sent the Audio Panel from my Cherokee, to the Factory and it was said to be perfect condition, but 5 updates behind, so everything was brought up to snuff.
Long story short, considering replacing a few headsets now with some more modern equipment.
Possibly start with 2 units from https://www.headsetsinc.com/aviation-headsets/
for the back seat of my Cherokee and see if this helps.
Not interested in $3,000 to $8,000 for a bunch of headsets!!!
Anyone know anything about these folks or have good experiences to discuss???
Not sure if I want to rebuild my Dave Clarks after these many years.
Great products but maybe something newer is in order!
Not really interested in high dollar stuff like Lightspeed or whatever but maybe that's what I need!
Thanks in advance for any good thoughts!!!
