Dakota vs. 180hp Arrow

I currently fly a 1979 Dakota, that will soon need an engine. Recently, a fully renovated (beautiful & loaded) 1967 Arrow has caught my eye and I am considering selling the Dakota to buy it. Having never flown an Arrow, I'm wondering if it flies similar to a Mooney of the same vintage. Also, can anyone tell me what to expect by way of pro's & con's between the two. Dakota lovers tell me I'm crazy, but folks that fly Arrows love them too.
