All,

I have started my instrument training and am looking to confirm power settings for constant rate descents for 500 and 800 fpm. I’m currently 15mp, 2000rpm with about half a width down on the AI getting 500fpm descent and same power, 1 width down on the AI gets me 800fpm both at a reasonable airspeed. With all the variables to consider I am curious what other Dakota pilots are using for all phases of flight. Also, What airspeed do you fly your approaches?

Thanks,

Chris
