I am new to GA, I have got the bug, and hope to successfully complete my PPL check-ride in a couple months.

Question for the forum. Is it wise to buy a 1976 Lance that is config for cargo, and have it converted to a family plane?

If I decide to go ahead with the purchase, I will definitely do a pre-sale inspection.
