Seriously have to wonder about these Cirrus Aircraft owners and there ADM, this one got to close and was said to be on the back side of Thunder Storms and then started losing avionics and decided to pull the parachute which only partially deployed, the rocket came out of the plane and some of the parachute lines, but not the main parachute and was still stuck in the plane.

He was forced to stick fly it and landed safely and you have to wonder why pulling the parachute was his first reaction instead of flying plane that still has an engine running and a prop turning? Too Funny I thought and something I wouldn't do in that situation with a big fan still running in front of me ,and glad he landed safely when he was forced to stick fly the plane out of IMC when the parachute failed and interesting to note was recently re-packed.

Could be the Cirrus needs a Reserve Chute too and can then marketed and claim its the safest and only plane with two parachutes for additional safety to new pilots/owners and there wifes as the latest and greatest single engine ever.
