I'm trying to gauge how normal (or not) the CHT's on my Lycoming O-540 are during ground operations & initial take off climb. Not finding a lot via search so hoping those of you w/ CARBURATED ENGINES with engine monitors can reply to the following 2 question so I can compare...
1. What's the hottest your CHT's can get while on the ground/run-up and takeoff when OAT are in the 70Fs or hotter?
2. How long does it typically take you before you takeoff after engine start?
Thanks!
