Greetings,
I'm a current Cherokee 140 owner but I've been drooling over Cherokee 6's since there are 5 of us in the family. I've noticed there are quite a few of them affordable with high airframe hours but very reasonable or low motor hours. I presume they were probably used to haul cargo or charter. Assuming the maintenance has been kept up, are there any real pitfalls of the high airframe time? Does the old adage that airplanes like to be flown vs hangared apply here on say a 4,000-6,000 hour airframe? They don't have pressurization stress or complex mechanical retracts. Am I missing other pitfalls?
Curious what you guys think?
Thank You,
Mike
