My nose wheel shimmies a bit on some landings. It's pretty managable with solid back pressure, but I don't like it.

I can see the dampener in there. Is this something that can be serviced/replaced without removing the cowling?

I've seen everything from $13 O-ring kits to full units you can fill with hydraulic fluid.

Any recommendations on the best way to go to restore anti shimmy functionality back to specs?
