Thinking about buying a plane with a low SMOH engine, very good P/I and a basic IFr panel. Then upgrading it all to what I want.

The question is, has anyone done this and been able to roll it all into financing? The plane in the $70k ish range and another $40k into the stack is what I'm thinking. 650 or 440, Aspen, edm 830 and a few other trinkets and doodads.

I'd being coming in with a 25% down on the whole thing at least. So we are talking somewhere around $80 financed.

Anyone have experience doing this?
