While collecting part numbers to rebuild my master cylinders, I discovered that none of the soft brake lines in the cockpit have ever been replaced (1973-1974 date codes). So while the system is already open to rebuild the master cylinders, I want to change the hoses. PHT quoted $440 for those six hoses (the hoses from the wing to the calipers were changed in 2019). Stratoflex 111 is $13/foot, call it 10 feet and $130 to build the hoses. Plus me and my mechanic's labor time.

Any reason other than possible cost savings to pick one option over the other?
