I just got my license two months ago, and I'm in the market for a new or like new airplane. It's probably going to be my only airplane, so I want to do it right. It doesn't have to seat but two people, and I just want it as a light airplane, simple with reasonable maintenance costs.

I would also like it to be able to last the rest of my life with proper maintenance.

I have my eyes on those newly made cubcrafters cubs, but also the 172. Would those be good? Are the cubcrafters as good as the original that'll last a lifetime?
