I have a '65 Cherokee 235 and the diode mounted below the battery relay has deteriorated to the point of the ceramic coating flaking apart and falling off and the wire ends are corroded. I cannot find any information as to the value of the diode, so I can't just go buy one. I have entered the part number, (62279-00) into my search engine and nothing comes up on any sites. Can anyone help me out as to the value of the diode or where I can order a replacement? Many thanks in advance!
