I am about to embark on the journey to swap out my DG and AI with a couple of units given to me by a friend. My problem is the pesky AI. The original equipment is much larger than the replacement one, which is the same size as the DG in the pics. I have found reducers at Aircraft Spruce, but they are not the size of the instruments I have. Am I going to have to custom make something? Or is there another source for reducers to fit my needs? See the pics for the sizes. I am also confused about the sized listed on Aircraft Spruce.... are those the measurement across the glass, or across the entire thing, including the 1/8" or so around the glass?
