I need a 5 passenger plane for personal use. I have considered the usual Cherokee 6, Cessna 2XX, Beechcraft models, etc. I keep coming back to an Aztec or Apache. Everyone has scared the devil out of me about operating costs, annuals, repairs, insurance etc.
My question for the group, is for those of you who own a Twin Aztec or Apache for personal use/family hauler do you have regrets? Would you go with a large single engine if you were to do it over?
I'm definitely a bottom feeder when it comes to what I can buy/afford. So comparing a 125,000 this to a 125,000 that is of no help to me. I'm more a $20,000 to $50,000 kind of guy(don't flame me, it is what it is & maybe this dream just isn't meant to be). Straight VFR station wagon of a aircraft is what I'm interested in. I look forward to ya'lls advice and comments..
