I am doing a MAJOR restoration on a 1967 PA-23-250. Converting from 12 volt to 24 volt electrical system. Main reason for the change is the installation of an Air Center air conditioning system.
Many years ago, Reading Avn Svc, in Reading, PA had STC SA337EA which converted the early Aztec’s from the factory 12 to 24 volts. I have sent letters, both normal and certified, to the last known address with no response. I have contacted the FAA New York Certification Office with the request for information, and they have nothing but the original paperwork, but no drawings.
So my question is, does anyone on this forum have any information at all on this conversion, any Aztecs out there that have had the modification accomplished?
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
