Here's a simple one:
I think I am well set with what I have in our new purchase.
We have a garmin 430 non WAAS. An HSI, a king kx155 with glideslope as well, a JPI 700, a GTX 330 with traffic aaand a strike finder.
The question is not what else do u need. The question is the following:
1- I obviously need weather ( more than lightning only) and yes I use foreflight and I have a stratus but I realized its vulnerability when stratus shut down due to low battery.
2- and even though the GTX 330 has traffic and I think its interfaced with the garmin 430 : the small screen and the repetitive english voice of the lady stating " traffic unavailable" makes me need an extra reliable traffic info for when stratus takes a break. Plus the fact that stratus is only ADS-B capable traffic only.
So, here's where I need ur help. If you were to seek my goal: clearly visible AnD reliable traffic info and weather and even possibly incorporating engine info from the available tools already present you would:
A- seek a display that interfaces with all these guys if that magical device even exist?
B- sell 430 aquire a newer bigger GPS system and buy all the additional gadgets to make it wx and traffic capable?
C- seek some kind of modern wizardish device that connects two out of the three stooges ( 430/ 330/ EDM 700) WIRELESSLY to my ipad making me the king of the world having to mind only the battery of my tablet?
