I have a 1974 180 HP Piper warrior in great condition, and I'm thinking about upgrading the panel. Long term plans are to keep the plane for 6-12 months, do instrument training and build time, before upgrading to a twin, so I'm fairly sensitive to market value of the plane.
I would, though, really like to have IFR GPS capabilities. I've put the options I'm considering below, any input would be greatly appreciated!

Current Panel:
King PMA 7000B audio panel
Garmin 250XL VFR GPS/COMM
KX 155 NAV/COMM w/GS
KN 62A DME
Narco all-in-one VOR

Option 1:
replace 250XL with 155XL ($1K) /300XL ($2K)
replace Narco with KN53 ($350)/KNS 80/81 ($500)
Install-I'm guessing $1.5K?

Option 2:
replace 250XL with KLN90B ($800) /KLN94 ($2K)
replace narco with KX 155 ($1.25K) /165 ($1.25K)
Install-something like $1K?

Option 3:
Just get a 430W ($5K)
Install-something like $2K?

Option 4:
Get a 650 ($9K)
Install-like $2K

Would love any opinions or advice about the different options... Thanks!
