Flew in a warrior recently. It had two garmin G5 as well as a 430 W, GPSS steering and an STec 30 with altitude hold. When we tried to get the auto pilot to do an intercept it would fly right through the radial and then slowly work its way back, fly right through it again and eventually pick it up. I thought this set up was supposed to be able to intercept a radial from any angle and immediately fly on the intercepted radial without all the isolation. Please advise?
