It died unceremoniously while doing approaches for currency. No roll control, no heading, no nothing. pulled the breaker and reset, we checked the connections, no joy. Would not have a problem with someone taking a look at it, but at about 2 AMUs it would be throwing good money after bad IMHO.

Moving to Ohio at the end of the month, wondering if there is anyone there who works on these old, antiquated APs near SW Ohio. Might be time to consider replacing with something a little more modern. Current Avionics are IFD440, KX165 and a 6 pack.
