I know all instruments need to be removed by a A&P - but I want to know if anyone attempted to remove it - was it complicated. I need to remove an attitude indicator for overhaul - I’ve been quoted 250 to remove and another 250 to install it - which seems ridiculous.
Attitude indicator is an edo aire with autopilot functionality.
Let me know what you guys think?
