Checked out the Aspen Angle of Attach (AOA) solution while at EAA this year and liked the implementation. I was hoping they would have an Airventure special for Synthetic Vision and AOA so I asked and they offered me a decent deal by giving me Synthetic Vision for both the PFD & MFD as well as AOA for both the PFD & MFD for $3200 so went with it.

The synthetic vision I mostly liked for the flight path marker, actual horizon, and color coded terrain & alerts and after reading and learning about the AOA where I think it will be useful is in go-arounds and approaches. They did a nice job in explaining this concept of using the AOA to determine "lift reserve" and that made sense. One thing I noticed in their implementation is that it shows lift for both flaps up and flaps down whereas the other providers seem to mostly display for one or the other.
