RE: Airworthiness Directive #2019-01-02
Aspen is pleased to inform you the FAA has approved software modification version 2.9.0.1 addressing the Airworthiness Directive issued in February 2019 affecting Evolution Flight Displays with software version 2.9 recycling when connected to an ADS-B transponder, transceiver or receiver when improperly formatted data is received.
We have issued Service Bulletin SB2019-01 which provides the field loadable software instructions for upgrading EFD1000/500 Electronic Flight Displays with 2.x software to MAP version 2.9.0.1 and IOP Version 2.1.1. All Aspen Authorized dealers have been informed of the software update and have access to the offically released documents. Click here to locate your nearest Aspen Authorized Dealer.
