AP dipping when press PTT being pressed

It is the weirdest and most unexpected reaction: when the S-Tec55x AP is on level ALT (NAV or HDG) and you transmit, the AP will react to the PTT being pressed.
It is a very significant yoke-forward movement (not just porpoising) and lasts as long as PTT is depressed.

Obviously an electrical interference somewhere but everyone at my FBO is puzzled. Any suggestions?
