A new kid on the block, AeroVonics, they have a very interesting offering that popped up at Airventure 2018.
It is competition for the Garmin g5, I've had a good email conversation with one of the founders, they are very interested in contact for the upcoming release for adding aircraft to their aml and stc.
Some neat new features will be incorporated that are not yet published, I won't post details until they are readily available, needless to say I have added the piper aztec to the list for aml stc certification
Very interested in this unit, it in its final form i think will have more functionality than the Garmin g5 units, I have flown behind the g5 while instructing and I would say that the av-30 has a much more user friendly graphic user interface....
still early in its release, the other thing is price point at half that of a certified g5 it is very attractive...
