Replaced the overhead console in our 180 this evening with a replacement unit from planeparts.com and wanted to share the results. You will need to drill the mounting holes for the speaker and dome light as well as transfer the red lens and rivets from the old unit. Took a couple of hours but I am super happy with the fit and finish. New placards are nice quality as well. About $160 plus a few bucks in supplies. Part # 01-028305-01 for anyone also looking. You can see how 57 years has taken its toll on the original.
