Hello,

My Cherokee Six 300 is almost ready for pickup after having the engine overhauled, a panel upgrade (dual Garmin G5's, Avidyne IFD-550, ADS-B in/out), and two of the fuel tanks repaired.

The shop says:

"We will be doing an engine ground run, avionic ground checks. We will test fly the aircraft to make sure everything is working properly. Anything that we worked on will be properly documented."

Should I get a 3rd party inspection (e.g. an annual) performed immediately after delivery?

An annual was performed just before she went into the shop, so this would be purely precautionary.

What's industry standard? What do you recommend?

Thanks,
Buck
