Maybe not the most epic upgrade journey but I'm feeling pretty happy with where my 180 is about 7 months after I got her.

Here's where I started, a very basic "barely maybe IFR but that's pushing it" setup:

Here is what I've done:
Garmin GTX375 GPS/ADSB In-Out Xponder
JPI EDM 900 (hooked to 375 for waypoint fuel estimates)
2x Garmin G5s with GAD13 OAT/Wind probe
Garmin GNC255A Nav/Com
DavTron M800 Cronometer
Secondary glideslope capable KI209 CDI
Garmin USB port
Avionics master switch, cooling fan, and replaced all fuses with breakers
PSI Vertical Compass Card

In the process:
Fixed a frayed Marker Beacon coax cable
Removed ADF and DME from ancient times
Removed secondary King155 nav/com (anyone want to buy one?)
Removed vacuum system
Removed older #2 CDI
Customized left-side panel for JPI, removed everything but
Moved King 155 #1 down to slot 2, hooked to CDI 2
Added ~30 lbs useful load (mostly vacuum system)

Next Up:
Autopilot
Secondary Nav/Com
Interior upholstery refurbish
