Having problems with the aft seat carpet on my 140. It's an Airtex interior that I installed about 6 years ago. Anyway, the part that hangs over the spar and snaps onto the spar is falling apart. The carpet itself is in great shape, it’s the black foam on the back of the carpet. Its leaving a pretty good mess of black foam powder on the floor. Anyway, I have enough scrap carpet to cut off the part that attaches to the spar and replace that. Would like to just Velcro that section to the spar and find a way to secure the aft floor board to the spar (keep it from rocking back). I do like to pull my battery in the winter to take it home since I'm outside. So I go in there fairly regularly. Curious if anyone has done something like this, or will my wings fall off.
