I got a cracks in my wing walks on my 72 Challenger (basically the cherokee) on the aft wing walks. My mechanic said it was going to be 13k to fix this. You think it’s worth going out and getting an opinion of a DER, he said he’d love to stop drill it, however piper doesn’t provide enough documentation on the matter and leaves his hands tied. I can’t even find the service bulletin where this is mentioned, does this actually leave it unairworthy? Let me know what you guys did if you have had this issue.
