I've got some pieces of wing walk that are chipping away and it looks pretty terrible. I'd like to touch it up. I've found a few threads on the issue (using a thin roller, spread it out, etc). I've also seen some using bedliner. My challenge is that where it is chipped there is what appears to be bare aluminum under it. I'm debating on if I should clean it (somehow) and paint on some alodine before rolling on the wingwalk, or if the wingwalk itself is protection enough? Does anyone have any advice?
