Never having swapped one out before, I guess I'm a little unsure. Our Lance sat overnight on a ramp in Florida this past weekend, and had to endure about an hours worth of fairly heavy rain. Went out to the plane immediately afterward to discover some puddling on the floor by where your feet would generally be. After getting back home and in the hangar, I started looking at the enclosure around the cockpit. I discovered a potential gap around one of the antennas on top of the cockpit which should be pretty easy to seal up. Also though, I discovered that around the front two windscreens there appears to be a little play where it sets in the "channel" (for lack of a better term) where I'm just about certain the majority of the water came in. Is there supposed to be some sort of a seal or silicone used when new pieces are installed? I didn't note anything like that in the parts manual. Would like to try and remedy this issue before she has to sit outside in the rain again.
