Why would someone buy the RC Allen digital HI or AI?

At over USD 2,500 each ($350 more than the Garmin G5), what could be the sales pitch for these in 2018?

My guesses are lower installation costs (eg the HI has a built-in magnetometer, instead of requiring remote installation in the wing), or maybe for aircraft that aren't covered by the G5 STC. Why else would someone pay more for these to get less functionality? Just curious.
