I wonder, why does POH requires to turn on the electrical fuel pump when changing tanks?
Electrical fuel pump pressurises the fuel lines after the pump. So you are not pressurising the fuel selector, which would seem to be the main point. So running the electric pump produces no extra fuel flow anywhere.
