The wet compass in my '66 Cherokee 140 is in the panel. There are some riv-nuts already in the hat section between the windshield halves as though someone had a compass (or something!!?) mounted there at one time or another. Of course, the vertical compass cards available would be mounted there, but my question is, could I mount a wet compass there also. Would it require anything more than a logbook entry? (W&B should not be affected since either installation is at virtually the same place, longitudinally)
