Took a short hop over to DNN, and found it to be "socked in". AWOS was reporting cig100, 1/4sm. I was tooling along in severe clear. But Sure enough, there was a line of overcast over DNN. About a mile or two wide, top about 300. With CAVU on both sides of it. I guess thick fog is what it was. Anyway, I had a nice smooth flight at about 1000agl.

And someone had a fire burning a large brush pile.

Kinda interesting how the smoke column went only about 400-500' then spread out like it did.
